Hangover Causes
It’s pretty simple to reverse engineering a hangover’s symptoms and come up with the associated causes. Alcohol causes dehydration, which in turn can cause headaches and fatigue. Some liquor such as rum contains congeners which can also be the cause of the headache. Many nutrients and vitamins are also lost during the frequent urination induced by your alcohol consumption.
Alcohol irritates your stomach and intestines which can easily cause nausea and vomiting. The nausea can last the entire second day. Any by-products or additives used in the alcohol you drank can stick around inside of you well into the next day. Drink lots of water and try to get some exercise.
